Supplier Quality Control Requirements

Applicability – The quality requirements herein are applicable to Jettron Products Inc. (herein referred to as JPI), purchase orders when incorporated in the purchase order by reference to a QC code. Acceptance of items on the purchase order will be withheld pending receipt of all required data as per the QC code.

These requirements, and the execution thereof, shall be in addition to other purchase order requirements.

The following QC codes may be applicable to the Purchase Order assigned to your company.

A.) The seller shall comply with MIL I 45208 or ISO 9001-2015, Inspection System Requirements, and all other terms of the PO in the manufacture and delivery of the materials. The seller shall allow JPI, its customers and any regulatory agencies the right of entry to any place necessary to determine and verify the quality and conformance of contracted work, records and manuals.

B.) Seller shall maintain an inspection system with written and documented inspection records, that is satisfactory to JPI. Records shall be kept for 10 years min. C.) Seller shall maintain calibration system in compliance with MIL STD 45662 or ISO 1001291 or ANSI/NCSL 2540-1-1994.

D.) Seller shall calibrate measuring instruments on a regular basis and keep written records.

E.) Age/Environment sensitive material – If this order is for material having definite characteristics of quality degradation for age sensitivity, the supplier shall mark such material with useful life expectancy and store it accordingly.

F.) Non-Destructive Test Certification – If this order is for materials for which the drawing requires a NDT (dye penetrant, hydrostatic, X-ray etc.), the supplier shall furnish at least 1 copy of NDT certificate with each shipment.

G.) Supplier shall maintain in its records a material certification from the source containing the chemical and physical analysis of the raw material used to fabricate the parts. Copies shall be furnished to JPI upon request.

H.) The supplier shall provide a copy of a Certificate of Compliance or Statement of Quality with each shipment. It shall certify that the product supplied is compliant with the drawing, specification or catalog requirements. It shall also contain the spec and/or drawing number, revision level, title and signature of an authorized representative, and the PO number.

I.) Unless otherwise specified by the drawing or PO, the supplier shall incorporate good commercial practices for the preservation and packaging of all orders.

J.) The supplier shall furnish at least 1 copy of a Certificate of Calibration traceable to the N.I.S.T.

K.) Metals supplied and/or used to manufacture item(s) on this order must comply with Department of Defense DFARS requirements 252.225-7014, Preference For Domestic Specialty Metals.
